Booking for Afternoon Tea.
If you wish to make a booking please contact us by:

 1)   Using our contact page on this website
 2)   Email-bookings@vintagetearoom.co.uk.
 3)  You can message on our social media -Facebook messenger or Instagram
       message.
Please don't telephone the Tearoom, we are unable to take bookings for Afternoon Tea over the telephone.

In your message please let us know
a)  The date you would like to book.
b)  How many people the booking is for.
c)  An approximate time.
d)  If you have any vouchers you wish to use.
e)  Which Afternoon Tea/s you would like.

We aim to reply to our messages within 24/48hrs, with the exception of messages received when the tearoom is closed (Mondays & Tuesdays) messages received on these days will be dealt with when we re-open. Please don't send additional follow up messages, we work through in date and time order and additional messages will further delay our reply.

Once you have received a response and you are booked in we will require a £5 deposit per person (unless you are using a gift voucher).

We will also require additional information, please ask all members of your party:
1)  If they have any dietary requirements
2)  If you require room for a high chair, pram, wheelchair or mobility scooter
3)  Each person's sandwiches* fillers, along with their name, a choice of white or brown bloomer bread and their choice of a fruit or plain scone.
*Sandwiches fillers and how many you can choose depends on the afternoon tea you have each chosen and are all listed on each menu on this website.  
Once you have this information please message us as soon as possible.

If you are making a group booking we can only accept messages from the group organiser.  If members of the party try to message us individually we will be unable to match up seperate messages.

Because we require all the information above, we cannot take afternoon tea bookings over the telephone. 
We require all the information in writing to proceed with your booking.  We have previously taken telephone bookings and experienced problems due to mis-communication when people have arrived.

The tearoom is ususally busy and loud therefore its easy to hear details incorrectly and make mistakes.

A few Important T's & C's 
We politely request a £5 deposit per Afternoon Tea (Festive Teas are subject to a £10.00 Deposit) to secure your booking. Payment can be made by card over the phone, bank transfer.  
    Once your deposit payment has been made the booking will be confirmed.
    Your deposit amount will then be deducted from your total bill on the day of your visit.
    Please note the deposit will become non-refundable and non-transferable within 7 days prior to your visit.
    If a booking is cancelled withih 48 hours of your visit we will still require full payment as our baking team will have already begun preparations.
