Our in box is always busy and we try to respond to enquiries in between baking, serving in the tearoom and throughout the evening.
To save you time messaging us we have put together a few answers for questions we are regularly asked.

When are you open?
We are open Wednesday to Sunday, 12-4pm

Can I book a table? 
Pre-Booking is required for our Afternoon Teas. We also recommend that you reserve a table if you want to visit and order from our daily menu. 

Which Afternoon Teas can I book?
At the moment we are offering these Afternoon Teas: Standard, Old School, Traditional, Pure Indulgence, Savoury, Gluten Free & Vegan. Please view our Afternoon Tea page for more details.

I have a specific dietary requirement, what Afternoon Teas can I book?
Please contact us prior to making your booking. We offer vegetarian options on all the Afternoon teas and offer a specific vegan Afternoon Tea.  We also have a specific Gluten Free Afternoon tea.   
Our vegan and gluten free desserts are not made on the premises to avoid cross contamination and full ingredient lists are available if required.
For any other allergies including nuts, strawberry or diary its is important to discuss this with us prior to booking.

How do I book?
We are unable to take bookings over the phone, please message us on social media, email or use the Contact form on the website. You can also text or What's App. 

I've sent a message but had no response?
Please allow us 24 hours to reply, we are closed on a Monday & Tuesday so please expect further delays if you message during these days.

I've emailed and had no reply?
If you message via email please check your junk/spam folder

What information do I need to make my booking?
If you are making a booking or would like to check availability, please include the date you want to visit, number of people and which Afternoon Teas you have selected.

You did takeaway in lockdown, can I still order 'Cakeaway/Takeaway'?
Yes, we still offer takeaway, you are welcome to pre-order items on our menu for takeaway. The weekly cake list is on social media pages, just let me know your choices in your message and the date you are looking to collect.

Is it only cake for takeaway?
No, you can order lunchpacks, cakes and treats and afternoon teas for takeaway. Please see our current menu for details

We offer cold drinks with our takeaways or basic tea/coffee.  We are unable to offer cappuccino/lattes/hot chocolate or milkshakes with takeaway.

I'm not local, how can I pay my deposit or takeaway order?
We accept card payments over the phone when the tearoom is open, although during busy periods such as lunchtime or at the weekend we may be unable to answer the phone.

For this reason we are happy to accept bank transfer. 

I have a voucher .... 
What a lovely gift to receive! Please ensure you book in prior to your visit, instructions are on the reverse of your voucher.
You MUST bring the voucher with you and present it on arrival. We do not accept copies, photos or invoices of the online purchase. 

You also must ensure that your voucher is valid and has not expired. Vouchers are valid for a full 6 months ,we do not extend vouchers past their expiry date.
